To acclimate corals, float the sealed bag in your tank for 15–20 minutes to equalize temperature. Then, slowly drip acclimate with tank water over 30–45 minutes. Finally, dip the coral in a coral-safe solution to remove pests before placing it in your tank.
While we inspect and maintain our corals in clean systems, we recommend that all customers perform their own coral dip before adding new arrivals to their display tanks. This is a vital step in pest prevention.
Most of our corals thrive under moderate to high PAR (100–350), depending on the species. Zoanthids and mushrooms do well in lower light, while SPS corals like Montipora require strong lighting. Always acclimate corals to your lights slowly to prevent bleaching.
Yes! Many of our offerings—such as Zoanthids, Mushrooms, and Acans—are perfect for nano tanks due to their compact size and lower light and flow requirements. Be mindful of space, as some species can be aggressive or fast-growing.
Corals vary in aggressiveness. Euphyllia (Torch, Hammer) have long sweeper tentacles and need space. Zoas and Mushrooms are peaceful but can overgrow. Always research placement and allow adequate room to avoid stinging or overgrowth.
We stand by the quality of our livestock. If your coral arrives in poor condition, please contact us within 2 hours of delivery with clear photos. We’ll work with you to provide a refund, credit, or replacement, depending on the situation.
Yes. While many corals are photosynthetic, target feeding with coral-safe foods (like mysis, reef roids, or aminos) can enhance growth and coloration—especially in LPS corals like Acans and Brain corals.
We recommend quarantining new corals for 2–4 weeks in a separate system. This helps monitor for pests like flatworms, nudibranchs, or algae without risking your display tank.
Yes! All of our corals are WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get), meaning you receive the exact coral shown in the product photo.
All corals are securely packed in temperature-controlled containers with heat or cold packs as needed. We ship via overnight express to ensure corals arrive in optimal condition, usually within 24 hours of leaving our facility.
